Off topic: Kinda like distant cousin, IMO. I don't like those as much because I heard bad things about them jamming up constantly.

you Heard the A**holes who spent time joking around and doing other things other than cleaning their rifle. The M16 doesnt jam up if its properly lubricated and cleaned. Unless sand gets into the rifle then it will jam. You guys do know the M14 is the M1 Garand only with a smaller round and and an automatic firing capability? But guess what guys its all history the M16 has outpreformed all the previous rifles Why you might ask well probably because its smaller, lightweight, More accurate, more versitile and diffenately cheaper. Oh and by the way all this German technology and how their arsenal is better than the US- remember who lost the war Ill give you a hint. It wasnt the Allies.

Argh...I really hate to...But I guess I have to. Ahem. Really? The M16 just needs to be properly maintained? I heard a story where a guy using an M16, in an indoor firing range, completely controlled, with the gun properly maintained, had it jam. For no reason AT ALL. It just stopped working. Explain that, fool. To the german thing... Comparitively...the Germans do have a better arsenal...and in fact, your precious M16 wouldn't even exist if it wasn't for the Germans and their Stg. 44. Win. In fact, it's my belief that had Hitler not shot himself and also not betrayed the Russians, he might have won. Finally, they DO have the better arsenal. They created a ton of rifles, from the G3 to the G36, and in fact are creating the rifles destined to replace the M16/M4 series, the HK 416. America is arrogant, believing above everything that their rifles are the best, despite the reliability issues, so in 40 years they havn't changed their rifles at all really. For 40 years, it's been the same rifle, just with very slight changes, like going from auto-semi to burst-semi to auto, back to burst. What did Germany have? List time! G3, HK33, HK53, G41, G36, G11, HK 416, HK417, and countless other prototypes that I don't know about. Thats just assault rifles. I hate spamming these comments, so lets take it to my profile if you want to continue cracks knuckles
