Whoa I expected a bigger player base than that

So I got DoD:S, and I was really surprised by how few people/servers there actually are, it might be because its around christmas time, but so far the player count has been underwhelming.

And on top of that I only find bad servers or gungame that has less than 100 ping for me (I live in Norway)

Still, its an old game, and its not like TF2, so I guess it makes sense that there ain't so many left.

    Yeah, DOD:Source didn't seem to last long. It's probably due to the lack of support it got from Valve. It's missing awesome maps and the British that were in 1.3.

    Thats not the reason, DoD:S Was so popular during the early stages, but its been out for a long time, and it died as soon as they made it 'tf2ey' :P

    I attribute DoD:S's failure to CoD2. DoD just didn't have much going for it in comparison.

    I kinda miss mapping...
